Du Plessis became UFC champion in January, defeating Sean Strickland via split decision in a tough battle, improving his UFC record to 7-0. Despite questions about his technique, Du Plessis’ victories over top fighters like Brad Tavares, Derek Brunson, and Robert Whittaker prove his prowess.

Meanwhile, Israel Adesanya returns after losing the title to Strickland in September. Known for bouncing back from setbacks, Adesanya is poised to make a statement in his return.

In the co-main event, veteran Kai Kara-France faces Steve Erceg in a flyweight bout. Erceg, a rising contender from Perth, seeks redemption after a title shot loss, while Kara-France aims to re-enter the title picture.

Mateusz Gamrot and Dan Hooker clash in a lightweight battle, with Gamrot looking to extend his winning streak and Hooker hoping to build on his UFC 290 victory.

Heavyweights Tai Tuivasa and Jairzinho Rozenstruik promise fireworks, with Tuivasa looking to break his losing streak and Rozenstruik aiming for back-to-back wins.

In the welterweight division, Chinese veteran Li Jingliang faces rising star Carlos Prates. Jingliang returns after a two-year hiatus, while Prates seeks his third straight UFC victory after two stoppage wins.
