11 teams will compete in the AVC Women’s Nations Cup 2025.

The 2025 edition of the AVC Women’s Nations Cup will be held from June 7 to 14 at the Đông Anh Gymnasium in Hanoi, Vietnam. The tournament was previously known as the AVC Women’s Challenge Cup until last year. The upcoming edition of the competition will serve as an opportunity for the competing nations for the Volleyball Nations League.

11 teams drawn into two groups will compete in the tournament from Saturday onwards. Vietnam, Australia, India, Hong Kong, and Chinese Taipei are drawn in Pool A of the competition, while Pool B consists of Kazakhstan, Philippines, Iran, Indonesia, Mongolia, and New Zealand.

China, Japan, South Korea, and Thailand participated in the recently concluded FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations League 2025. Thus, the four nations are not eligible to compete in the tournament.

The AVC Women’s Nations Cup 2025 champions will secure a direct qualification for the Asian Volleyball Championship, scheduled to take place in Thailand next year.
