How long will the WWE draft 2023 last?

WWE had its last Draft on October 2021. To coincide with the start of new "seasons" for Raw and SmackDown, a Draft was staged in October 2019, 2020, and 2021. Given the consistent overlap between Raw and SmackDown, you'd be forgiven for forgetting there was even a reason for a Draft. Meltzer has stated that Fox and USA seek exclusivity on their rosters, despite the brand divide putting a strain on the product at times.

The WWE Draft 2023 will kick off on this week's SmackDown, which airs on April 28. It will continue until the next Monday Night RAW episode. On April 29 and May 2, the event will be held in India.

What happens at WWE Draft?

The WWE Draft rebranded as the Superstar Shake-up from 2017 to 2019, is used by WWE to rotate its rosters between the Raw and SmackDown brands (2002–2011; 2016–present). Furthermore, NXT wrestlers from 2016 and later are eligible for Raw and SmackDown Drafts. Two of WWE's past brands, ECW (2006-2009) and 205 Live (2019), also took part in the drought throughout the promotion's different brand splits. Below are the wrestlers eligible for WWE Draft 2023.

Chief Content Officer Triple H revealed the 2023 WWE Draft during a recent edition of Friday Night SmackDown. The WWE Universe was thrilled to learn that Triple H will continue the Draft like he did last year; previously, WWE just conducted brand cross-overs and united the belts.

On the WWE Draft 2023, fans will see a wide range of superstars transition from RAW to SmackDown and vice versa. The addition of celebrities, unsurprisingly, will increase the excitement and action-packed nature of both businesses. This year's WWE Draft will begin with Friday's SmackDown and go through Monday Night RAW. With WWE's partnership with Endeavour, worldwide fans should anticipate something new this time around during the Draft 2023.
