WWE Rumors: John Cena vs Logan Paul planned for SummerSlam 2023

Logan Paul has cemented himself as one of the best YouTubers. But, there is another thing he has accomplished which is the acceptance he got from the WWE Universe. In his WWE run, he has fought several superstars matching their aura, charisma, and moves. His run in WWE has been flawless. Some also, say he is better than some of the wrestlers in the locker room.
Recently on the latest edition of RAW, we saw Logan Paul's return where he announced himself as one of the participants in Money in the Bank 2023 PPV. With him joining in the run for Money in the Bank it would be interesting to see whether he wins the Money in the Bank.
Rumors have been circulated that Logan Paul is going to face John Cena at Summerslam. The Peacemaker last fought at WrestleMania 39 against Austin Theory where he lost to the United States Champion.
With many speculations being made, it would be interesting to see whether the whole thing comes into fruition or not.
John Cena and Logan Paul were set to meet at WrestleMania 39
Logan Paul converted naysayers into believers after his performance at the Crown Jewel versus Roman Reigns. After holding the belts for so long, most fans expected Reigns to fall to a part-timer. Nonetheless, as time passed, fans began to ponder what if. Following the match, John Cena posted Logan Paul on social media, and the Maverick expressed his desire to face him again.
Logan Paul admitted that he asked Triple H if he might battle John Cena at WrestleMania 39, and it appears that the WWE did contemplate doing so. However, arrangements for that match were abruptly altered last year.
According to Sean Sapp of Fightful, the WWE revised a lot of plans last year around November and December. Originally, John Cena was scheduled to battle Logan Paul on the Grandest Stage of all. However, plans were revised, and the match was swiftly adjusted as they sought other matchups.
“Logan Paul vs. John Cena WrestleMania: Things changed pretty quickly for this one. Heading into Survivor Series, the internal, working plan was for Logan Paul to take on John Cena. However, a month later, WWE was pulling Austin Theory from a Toronto live event to secretly film a segment with Cena at the December 30 WWE Smackdown in Tampa.”
