Becky Lynch to face reigning NXT Women’s Champion in near future: Rumors
Becky Lynch is one of the greatest female professional wrestler of WWE, with a monumental wrestling career. She had never backed down to any challenge that was put in front of her. She has won six world championships and one tag team championship and is the sixth women’s triple crown champion of WWE.
Although being a greatest women’s champion of the company the reigning NXT Women’s Champion claimed that she is the greatest champion of all time, to which Becky reacted and it is being the talking point in the wrestling world.
Becky Lynch return to NXT?
Last week on NXT Heatwave, the NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton marched her way to the ring and talked about her summer. Where she stated that she will become the greatest NXT Women’s Champion of all time, than the former champions such as Bayley, Asuka, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.
Becky reacted to Stratton’s statement on X (Twitter) that she had never been the NXT Women’s Champion yet.
Becky tweeted,
“I haven’t been NXT Women’s Champion…yet. #NXT Heatwave”
However, Stratton on a backstage segment later accepted her mistake and called Becky “literally irrelevant”.
This week, Stratton was in the crowd to spectate the episode of Raw. Connecting the dots, Becky might return to NXT to become the NXT Women’s Championship in the future as it is the only championship that Becky has never won.
Superstars returning to NXT for Championship
If Becky wishes to return to NXT for the Championship, it would not be the first time as number of superstars from the main roster had returned to NXT fetching for a gold including Finn Balor, Charlotte Flair, Samoa Joe, reigning NXT North American Champion Dominik, Dolph Ziggler, and more.
