How JD McDonagh’s involvement could impact The Judgement Day?
JD McDonagh was drafted from NXT to Raw as a part of the 2023 WWE Supplemental draft. He made his main roster debut in a violent way where he attacked former World Champion Dolph Ziggler brutally. He was then found with fellow Irish man and real life-mentor Finn Balor on the Backstage multiple times. As Balor and Priest developed tension within The Judgement Day, Balor started hanging out with McDonagh most of the time than The Judgement Day members.
For the past two weeks, JD McDonagh tried to interfere in The Judgement Day’s business which already pissed off the members except Balor. So here are some of the speculations on how McDonagh’s involvement could impact The Judgement Day.
New Member of The Judgement Day
As JD McDonagh constantly interferes with The Judgement Day business in recent times, by trying to solve the problem between Balor and Priest, injuring Sami Zayn before the match with Judgement Day last week. Attacking Zayn before he tracks the Judgement Day this week might create a good impression among the Judgement Day members and he might be added as a new member of the stable. If McDonagh became a part of the stable, he could be a great threat to the opponents and help Priest successfully cash-in the Money in the Bank or make Balor win the World Heavyweight Championship.
Replaces Damien Priest
Last week on Raw, when Balor and JD McDonagh were backstage, Priest came to talk to Balor to sort out the problem. However, McDonagh stood next to Balor and advised Priest to get rid of the Briefcase as it would be the only solution for the problem. McDonagh might cost Priest’s cash-in and eliminate the MITB curse away from Balor, which could lead to Priest being frustrated and leaving The Judgement Day. Where, McDonagh with the good will of Balor might replace Priest’s spot.
JD McDonagh & Balor form a new stable
As Balor kept distancing himself from the fellow Judgement Day members and started to hangout with McDonagh, they might plan for a new stable. They have been talking backstage on multiple occasions and McDonagh started to eliminate the threat from Balor. Balor and McDonagh might form a team of their own involving Nakamura, as he recently turned on Rollins, who is Balor’s previous opponent. If they form a new stable, they would possibly turn against the Judgement Day and would result in making Balor the World Champion.
