WWE Superstars are subjected to cheers and boos their entire career. A baby face getting cheered and the top heel getting booed is pretty normal. WWE Universe are quite unpredictable that they even boo their favorite wrestler, and cheer a heel wrestler. Home crowd cheer is totally different, but in other cases it definitely impacts a wrestler’s career. An ever rising pop and constant cheer could push a mid carder to the top card like what is happening to LA Knight, whereas a loud boo could make a rookie a most hated heel wrestler like Dominik Mysterio.

In certain cases a battle between WWE Universe occurs when two of their favorite wrestlers fight. When a WWE Superstar is celebrated by their fans, he is equally hated by his haters. One such scenario occurred during this year’s SummerSlam, where Roman Reigns had mixed chants from the crowd, “Let’s Go Roman! Roman Sucks!”. Does this mean WWE Universe is turning on Roman Reigns? Will it impact his current wrestling career?

Is the WWE Universe turning on Roman Reigns?

Definitely Not! Roman Reigns is currently playing a villainous character in WWE. A heel persona getting Booed is pretty normal and it just signifies the success of his role. Despite being a top heel, Roman has been acknowledged by the crowd and has a great fanbase.

His “Let’s Go Roman! Roman Sucks!” Chant is a resemblance of the successful storyline, Jey Uso’s improvised wrestling abilities, and the curiosity of fans to dethrone Reigns. When Roman Reigns fought Jey Uso twice, three years ago at the Thunderdome he received way more negative chants than this, it didn’t affect his career instead it took him this far as a successful Universal Champion and as an undefeated wrestler.

This is not the first time that WWE Universe had a complicated chant on Roman. He has been booed as a face, cheered as a heel, but it has never affected his wrestling career. Even if the WWE Universe turns on Roman, it will lead to a successful end or to a new path to “The Bloodline” storyline.
