New members of Bobby Lashley’s WWE faction teased
Bobby Lashley has found a new heel faction in WWE SmackDown with Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins (The Street Profits). A month ago on an episode of SmackDown, Bobby Lashley took Ford and Dawkins in a Limo, next week Lashley presented them with new suits and was backstage with NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes.
It was rumored that Melo would be joining them in the new faction. With rumors of adding new members to the stable circulating around the new heel stable, The Street Profits came to meet three NXT Champions.
Who are they?
On the latest episode of NXT, The Street Profits surprisingly returned and had a backstage segment with Carmelo Hayes and The D’Angelo Family.
Ford and Dawkins had a chit chat with the NXT Champion Champion Carmelo Hayes, where they talked about Melo’s successful Championship reign and his recent title defense against Wes Lee. Ford then asked what’s next for the title, to which Melo answered that there are a lot of guys on the line and left the room.
After Melo left, the NXT Tag Team Champions D’Angelo and Lorenzo showed up and they acknowledged The Street Profits for their run in NXT and for the NXT Tag Team Championship reign. Ford said, “Maybe next time in the neighborhood, we’ll check to see how you are going”.
It seems like Lashley and Profits are looking to recruit new members to their stable and might involve the addition of two.
The D’Angelo Family to LWO?
The D’Angelo Family already teased an association with LWO. Weeks before on NXT, Santos Escobar returned to NXT to team up with the Family to take on Gallus. After the match during an exclusive interview backstage, Escobar said to Lorenzo and D’Angelo that both of their family share love and respect to the business and showed the LWO armband, stating that they are bonded forever.
