The August 29, 2023 episode of WWE NXT will be held live from Capitol Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, United States. A number of matches and segments were scheduled for the show to set the stage for upcoming NXT No Mercy. Here is a detailed preview, prediction on the match card and the telecast details of this week’s episode of NXT.

Preview on the Match card and Predictions

#1 Contenders Fatal 4-Way Match

Last week on NXT Heatwave NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton claimed that she is the better NXT Champion and the championship is ain’t going anywhere from her waist. Where Gigi Dolin, Blair Davenport, Kiana James and Roxanne Perez confronted her demanding a championship match and all the four went into a brawl. This week they are said to fight in a fatal 4-Way match for the #1 Contendership to face Tiffany Stratton at No Mercy for the NXT Women’s Championship.

As per predictions, Blair Davenport is expected to win the match as she seems to be a dominant contestant of the other three.

Creed Brothers vs The Dyad- Steel Cage Match

Creed Brothers lost to The Dyad in a “Loser Leaves NXT” match a month ago and was no were seen. An internal tension inside Schism made Joe Gacy and Ava suspect their masked members. The Schism went on a search for Creed Brothers and found Ivy Nile (Who was associated with Creed Brothers). At NXT Heatwave Ivy and Ava went one-on-one, where Ava lost and two masked members of Schism army saved Ava from Ivy. It was later revealed that they were The Creed Brothers. They demanded a match with The Dyad inside the steel cage this week to release Ava.

As per speculations, The Creed Brothers will win the match and would be reconciled with NXT. 

NXT Global Heritage Invitational- Nathan Frazer vs Joe Coffey

Nathan Frazer and Joe Coffey are said to go one on one with each other representing their countries in the first round of NXT Global Heritage Invitational Cup in Team B. Frazer represents Jersey and Joe Coffey represents Scotland. Both of the UK country men’s are expected to be the players to be watchout for in the Invitational tournament.

As per speculations, Nathan Frazer is likely to win the first round and lead the Group B.

NXT Global Heritage Invitational- Butch vs Charlie Dempsey

In Group A, Butch representing England is said to go one-on-one with Charlie Dempsey representing the United States of America. Butch already had long successful career in NXT UK and NXT and his return might be interesting to watchout for. On the other hand Dempsey is one of the finest submission specialist, their contest might turnout to be the highlight of the evening and the match to be watch out for.

As per speculations Butch is likely to win the match and lead the Group A in this tournament.
