WWE-UFC merger company Board of Directors set without Triple H
In April 2023, WWE and UFC parent company Endeavor came to a deal to merge WWE with UFC and form a new company TKO. Where Endeavor will hold 51% of the stake and WWE will hold the rest 49%. The deal is now expected tk close next month as the new documents are filed recently in United States Securities and Exchange Commission (USSEC) with 10 out of 11 members of the Board of Directors being announced, where Triple H was not named.
WWE-UFC Board of Directors
Based on the deal, six members of the board will be selected from the Endeavor side and five members from the WWE side. From WWE’s side two will be from the Management side (including Mr. McMahon) and three will be independent. From Endeavor, three will be from the management side (including Mr. Emanuel) and three will be independent.
Endeavor announced all the six members of their side, whereas WWE has announced only four out of the five, where the final member is yet to be finalized. Here are the members of the Board of Directors for the WWE-UFC merger that has been announced.
WWE
WWE Chairman, Vincent K. McMahon (77)
WWE CEO, Nick Khan (48)
Atlanta Hawks/State Farm Arena CEO, Steven R. Koonin (66)
Eko Chief Media Officer & Executive Chairperson Nancy R. Tellem (70)
Endeavor
Endeavor CEO, Ariel Emmanuel (62)
Endeavor President, Mark Shapiro (53)
Silver Lake Co-CEO, Egon P. Durban (49)
New England Patriots & The Kraft Group President, Jonathan A. Kraft (59)
Reach Resilience President & CEO, Sonya E. Medina (47)
Opendoor Technologies CEO, Carrie Wheeler (51)
As WWE announced four of it’s five members of the Board, it is quite surprising that the Chief Content Officer Triple H was not included in it, as he has been in WWE’s BOD list since 2015. Various sources reported that Triple H will continue his current role, but his place in the BOD is not uncertain.
With one final name to be added to the board by the WWE side, will it be the “King of King” Triple H?
