WWE has been hosting successful international events more often in recent times. In 2023, WWE hosted Elimination Chamber in Canada, Backlash in Puerto Rico, Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia, Money in the Bank at London, United Kingdom and upcoming Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. And rumors suggest that it is planning for more international events in the future. To strengthen the rumors, WWE has now officially announced the venue and date of the Elimination Chamber which is held across the other side of the globe.

Elimination Chamber in Australia

It has been rumored for months that WWE is planning to host a premium live event in Australia. Earlier this year, The West Australian Newsletter reported that WWE will be heading to the Optus Stadium in Perth, Western Australia in early 2024 and will host an event on the road to WrestleMania 40 in March 2024 before the AFL season.

WWE has now confirmed the reports of the West Australian, that WWE will be hosting Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event on February 24, 2024 Saturday at Optus Stadium in Perth, Western Australia. This marks the first event in Australia in 6 years. Elimination Chamber is scheduled to be aired around 6 am eastern and 3 am pacific in the United States. Which is 3.30 pm in India. The stadium has a capacity to occupy around 60,000 WWE fans.

Last event in Australia

Last time WWE hosted a show in Australia was back in 2018, where  WWE Super Showdown was hosted. Following the event Stephanie McMahon reported that Australia deserves a big WWE event in near future, which was now planned to happen after 6 years.
