MJF reportedly setting sight on WWE move in 2024

MJF has been in AEW from the start of the company and has been highly successful than most of the other wrestlers in the company. He stood undefeated for almost a year and a half, he held the Dynamite Diamond Ring for more than four years, and is the current AEW World Champion on his first reign. Although having a huge success in AEW, MJF has always been referencing WWE and expressed his wish to work there, even on AEW television. Following his tease, it is reported that MJF might be moving to WWE next year.
MJF in WWE?
Earlier this year Fightfull Select reported that WWE are interested in MJF when his contract with AEW expires. MJF signed a five-year deal with AEW in January 2019 and his contract is about to expire in January 2024.
MJF is a self proclaimed "Generational Talent" and is the youngest AEW World Champion, considering his age, mic skills and in-ring performance, there must be a bidding war between both the companies after his contract expires.
Fightful also reported that a WWE talent told them that MJF said "I'm looking forward to being there in 2024" where that "there" refers to WWE. Although it might be casual, another talent also reported the same which makes the words strong. It is believed that WWE is also interested in signing MJF and might go for him if his contract expires.
Fightful also reported that there is no official information whether MJF has signed a contract extension or not. They also added, “We haven’t heard from anyone who has actually heard from MJF that he’s extended his contract, though it’s assumed by many.”
If MJF contract expires in January 2024 and if the company has no wait period, as per speculations he might make his debut at Royal Rumble. Do you wish to see MJF in WWE? will he be the right fit for the company? share your thoughts in the comments.
