Five new titles WWE could introduce currently

Championships in the wrestling industry are considered as highly prestigious and there are certain special divisions and brand-exclusive championships. WWE has introduced, reintroduced and refurbished multiple championships over the years. However a recent backstage report from BWE states that WWE is in talks to introduce 5 new championship titles to the company.

5. Trios Championship

Trios Championship has been widely popular and proven successful in all the other wrestling promotions. However, WWE has never taken steps to introduce the trio's championships in the company. As the trio stables in WWE is blooming day-by-day an increasing number of Six-Man Tag Team matches in recent times might introduce the Trios Championship in WWE. The Judgment Day, New Day, Bobby Lashley and Street Profits, The Brawling Brutes, and The O.C. may be the potential contenders for the division and the championships.

4. Cruiserweight Championship

The Cruiserweight Championship was active in WWE on two different occasions. It was first introduced in WWE in 2001 and again introduced in 2016 exclusively for high-flying talents with weights less than 205 lbs. WWE exclusively introduced a separate roster for the cruiserweight in 2016, but faded away to the NXT and retired by unifying with the NXT North American Championship. As UFC uses separate weight divisions and championships the current merge might bring back the Cruiserweight Championship back to life.

3. Mid-card Women's Championship

Women's division in the current roster is expanding day-by-day and there are a number of potential talents who faded from television due to lack of push and championship opportunities. However, a mid-card championship such as the Women's United States Championship or the Women's Intercontinental Championship might solve the problem. WWE Hall of Famer Booker T in a recent interview with Fox, spoke about introducing a mid-card championship in the women's division. If a championship is introduced, it would be a great fit in the Raw brand as there are numerous female talents who went unnoticed.

Booker T on Women's Mid-Card Championship,

"We should have a mid-card belt for the ladies. Almost like a television championship where it’s not competing with the Women’s NXT Championship. Just to give someone else a little bit of a rub, a little bit of shine, as well as a little bit of something to work for because it is always gonna be a while before you work your way to that big goal."

2. New Tag Team Championships

Since both Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Championships are unified into Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships, the titles are defended on a particular brand leaving the other brand behind. Similar to how Raw and SmackDown Women's Championships became the WWE Women's Championship and Women's World Champion. T

he tag team golds might be reintroduced making the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship as World Tag Team Championship and a new Tag Team Championship might be introduced on SmackDown making it as WWE Tag Team Championship. WWE had already had these two championships in the past and must bring it to boost the tag team divisions on both brands.

1. New Division and Championship

Since WWE has merged with UFC, there might be a similar division in the company with a division-exclusive championship. The Heavyweight division can be the clash of massive wrestlers such as Braun Strowman, Omos, Brock Lesnar, and Bobby Lashley similar to how the Cruiserweight division holds. This division can also bring some of the heavyweight UFC fighters to the wrestling ring and make things interesting.
