WWE NXT (September 5, 2023): Matches, news, rumors, predicted matches, timings, telecast details

The September 5, 2023 episode of WWE NXT will be aired live from WWE Performance Center, in Orlando, Florida, United States. WWE has confirmed four matches for the show, including a championship, a #1 contender's match, a no disqualification match and the continuation of the NXT Heritage Cup Invitational Tournament. Here is a complete preview, prediction on the match card for this week's episode of NXT.

#1 Contender's Match- NXT North American Championship
Dragon Lee and Mustafa Ali failed to capture the NXT North American Championship from Dominik Mysterio on previous occasions. As both asked for a rematch for the championship, they will go one on one this week, with Dominik Mysterio as the Special Guest Referee. The match is expected to be so exciting and fun to watch, as Dom the champ is himself the referee.
Mustafa Ali is speculated to win the match and challenge Dominik for the NXT North American Championship.
NXT Women's Championship
Last week on NXT, Kiana James won the Fatal 4-Way match and became the #1 Contender for the NXT Women's Championship. This week she will face the champion, Tiffany, for the NXT Women's Championship. Becky Lynch is expected to be on the ring side to spectate the match between the two, as Becky said during the backstage segment between Tiffany at Payback.
As per speculations, Tiffany will retain the championship. After the match she will be confronted by Becky Lynch and both will have a match at No Mercy.
Bron Breakker vs Von Wagner
Von Wagner and Bron Breakker have already had a match, where Breakker defeated Wagner. But after the match, Wagner power bombed him through the commentary table. Two weeks before, during Wagnor's match, Breaker speared him again which led to a No Disqualification match this week.
As per speculations, Bron Breakker will win the match and can expect involvement of Baron Corbin.
NXT Global Heritage Cup Invitational
Ilja Dragunov and Oro Mensah had involved in a brawl last week. This week they will face one on one in the NXT Global Heritage Cup Tournament. Where the Russian, Dagunov and Swiss, Mensah fight in the first round of the tournament.
Ilja Dragunav will win the match as the former NXT UK Champion seems to be more dominant than Mensah.
