WWE SmackDown Results & Winners (September 8, 2023): AJ Styles defeats Jimmy Uso

Jimmy Uso looks to rejoin the Bloodline, Bobby Lashley sends a message to The Judgment Day and much more!
The September 8, 2023 episode of WWE SmackDown is filled with a number of interesting contests and a lot of pay-per-view worthy matches have been confirmed for next week. Get to know what happened on this week's episode of SmackDown here, as we came out with a complete match summary of the episode with results, ratings and winner's list.
Match Summary
Charlotte Flair & Shotzi Blackheart vs Bayley & IYO SKY
Charlotte & Bayley starts the match, as IYO & Shotzi enters. All the a brawl. Charlotte & Bayley tooke their fight down, IYO sent Shotzi down and delivered a Moon Sault of the springboard outside the ring on Charlotte & Shotzi.
After the commercial, Damage CTRL is in control of the match locking Shotzi to their corner and not allowing her to tag-in. Shotzi fights back, and sends IYO out with a right hand and hit a combo kick to Bayley made her tag the queen. Charlotte went for a Crossbody of the top rope and rapid chops on Bayley. She hit a Clothesline and locked a Figure-4. IYO saves Bayley. Asuka is here on the ring side to distract Bayley & IYO as Shotzi steels a win by pinning Bayley.
Winner: Charlotte Flair & Shotzi Blackheart Ratings: 3/5
Backstage
Jimmy Uso meets Paul Heyman. Jimmy is clear, that he wants a place inside the Bloodline as he came out with "We the Ones" attire. Heyman says, until Roman Reigns says he is not into the Bloodline and guarantees that if Jimmy handles AJ Styles problem today, he will handle Jimmy Uso's business. Paul Heyman meets AJ Styles. AJ tries to attack Heyman, but Jimmy attack him from backside and threw him away. Paul Heyman calls Roman Reigns.
Damage CTRL is extremely unhappy with Asuka's interference. All the three try to put an end to it, as IYO challenges Asuka to a match with WWE Women's Championship on the line.
LA Knight vs Austin Theory
LA Knight came to the ring and talks about The Miz, his win against Miz at Payback and says that he doesn't need Cena to win or endorse him. He endorses himself with the victory. When he is about to accept the challenge of The Miz, Grayson Waller interrupts. He also calls out Austin Theory to verbally slam LA Knight. But LA Knight slams both, which pissed off Theory and Waller, as they came to settle in the ring.
Theory locks Knight's head and hit him with a shoulder tackle. Knight with a shoulder upper cut and kneck breaker. Theory now took the control and sends Knight of the aprid. Knight with a Springboard shoulder tackle and sends Theory out. He blew Theory's head to the commentary table. Knight wet for a splash Theory in the corner as he threw him over and hit his face first on the turnbuckle. Theory is now in control.
After the commercial, both counter each other's move. Knight went for a Neck breaker, DDT and a running Knee strike. Theory with a right hand, but Knight sends Theory out and kicks him on the face with a sliding drop kick, but Theory went for the vertical Suplex. Waller expose the turnbuckle to help Theory. But Knight escapes the exposed turnbuckle, hit a LA Knight signature elbow drop and BFT for the win.

The Judgment Day vs The Brawling Brutes
The Judgment Day is here without Mami, as she is in India for the Superstar Spectacle. As usual Dom tried to talk as the crowd goes for a huge boo! Priest says that they reached the position were not even the Bloodline could able to reach. It's the second time Judgment is messing up with the Bloodline. They got interrupted by Brawling Brutes, which turns into a tag team match next.
Between the commercial, the match began as Priest hit Butch with an elbow. Balor got tagged in as Butch took control by bending his finger. He tagged in Ridge Holland, he goes for a locked neck swing on Balor. Balor somehow tagged in Priest, as he took control of Holland with rapid strikes. Holland lifts Priest and Balor on his shoulder and went for a drop down. Dom distracts as Balor and Priest took control. Holland tagged Butch in as Butch dominate Priest and Balor and lands a Moon sault out to the ring on both.
After the commercial, Butch hit Balor with a Superplex and went for a finisher, but Balor countered with reverse DDT. Priest and Holland got tagged in as Holland counters Priest's strike and hit a Belly to Belly overhead suplex. Priest got the control as Butch tagged in. He tags Balor in, as Dom distracts Butch hit Dom with a 10 chest blows, but Balor hit a roll down, drop kick and tagged Priest in. Priest with a sit out chokeslam to Butch and Balor with a Coupe de Grace for the win.
After the match, Bobby Lashley and Street Profits interrupts The Judgment Day and makes a statement that they are the one who runs the place, not Judgment Day neither the Bloodline.
Winner: The Judgment Day Ratings: 4/5
Jimmy Uso vs AJ Styles
As soon as the bell rang, Jimmy tried to Superkick AJ Styles, but he moves and kicks Jimmy's leg as he lands on his neck. AJ Styles is in complete dominance over Jimmy initially. Jimmy hit Styles with a back elbow strike for a brief control. Styles however sent Jimmy out and hit him with a sliding drop kick. He tried to kick Jimmy from the aperid, but Jimmy hit him with a superkick. As Jimmy took control, Paul Heyman arrived on the entrance ramp with Solo Sikoa to spectate the match.
After the commercial, Jimmy continued his domination over Styles with a splash. AJ Styles hit Jimmy with a back drop. Both slapped each other and exchange side head kicks. Styles sent Jimmy out and hit him with a Phenomenal Forearm outside the ring. He measures to finish Jimmy, but Jimmy escapes.
Styles then with a rapid strikes, but Jimmy hit him a headbutt. But Styles went for a DDT and measured for a Phenomenal Forearm. He got distracted by Solo and Paul, as Jimmy superkicks him. Jimmy is distracted by Solo as Styles attack both and hit a Phenomenal Forearm on Jimmy for the win.
Solo came to attack Styles, but he scrolls out. However, The Judgment Day attacks him from behind and sent him into the ring to assist Solo Sikoa to hit a Samoan Spike on Styles.
Winner: AJ Styles Ratings: 4/5
