Vincent Kennedy McMahon has been the chairman of WWE since 1982 and had successfully run the company for over four decades. He made the company stand out from all other wrestling promotions by making it the monopoly of the wrestling industry. WWE became the largest wrestling promotion in the world. He made the promotion unlike others as a sports entertainment company featuring storylines, scripts and choreographed matches.

He ran the company across various eras such as Golden Era, New Generation Era, Attitude Era, Ruthless Aggression Era, PG Era, Reality Era, New Era, and New Boom period. However his dominance in the company is coming to a halt, as tonight's episode of Raw marks the last-ever show of the McMahon era.

Last-ever show under the McMahon Era

Over the last few months WWE has been in discussion with UFC's parent company Endeavor to form a new company "TKO" group. WWE agreed to sell 51% of its stakes to Endeavor and WWE to hold 49% of its stakes. This marks the first time McMahons have less control over WWE. They recently filed their papers and came out with a 11 member Board, where McMahon will have 5 members on it, in which 4 members are already being announced.

It is expected that the merger will be completed on September 12, 2023 and Endeavor will take control of the major part of the company. Which means tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw is the final episode under McMahon era.

Will McMahon family be on Raw?

As the McMahon era is coming to an end, will McMahon's family members be on the Raw is the biggest question among the wrestling industry. However there is no official information on their appearance yet. If the McMahon's were coming to Raw, WWE might have promoted their appearance, although the show carries great hype among wrestling fans.
