WWE working on deal to have Cristiano Ronaldo attend Crown Jewel 2023 in Saudi Arabia

WWE has worked with some popular celebrities across the world on television including Bad Bunny, Shaquille O'Neal, Kim Kardashian, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Snooki, Hugh Jackman, Snoop Dogg, Flyod Maywether and so on. It is now reported that WWE has been in talks to bring one of the GOAT's of Football Christiano Ronaldo to this year's Crown Jewel event in Riyadh.

As per Diario AS, (a Spanish daily sports newspaper) WWE want Cristiano Ronaldo to be at Crown Jewel in Riyadh. According to the reports, Ronaldo would be at the Crown Jewel event in November in the city of Riyadh to witness the live action, however there is no official information about it.

Xero News posted this information on its social media account and added that WWE also has plans to bring multiple known celebrities for the Saudi show.

Ronaldo signed a €200 million/year deal in December 2022 with Saudi Arabia's Al Nassr football club to play until summer 2025. In a recent game with Al Hilal, Ronaldo received a yellow card for locking the head of the opponent player. To which WWE's Vice President and General Manager of MENA region wrote by retweeting on X, "WWE Night of Champions is right around the corner."

It is believed that this might have reached  the head of Stamford based company, which would have made them try to bring CR7 to Crown Jewel at Riyadh.

Earlier this year

Earlier this year, when the Night of Champions was held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, it was rumored that Ronaldo will appear for the PLE. However, Ronaldo had an ongoing match on the same day, which made the rumor false. It was also speculated that Ronaldo might appear at the next live event in Saudi Arabia.
