Bo Dallas worked for WWE from 2008 to 2021, he is a former NXT Champion, Raw Tag Team Champion and 24/7 Champion. He had an underrated run in WWE and got released from the company after 13 years run due to injuries and absence from television. It was rumored last year that Bo Dallas will be returning to WWE to take the Uncle Howdy Role to stand with his real-life brother, Bray Wyatt.

As he was rumored to return as Uncle Howdy, Bray Wyatt paused the storyline as he went on hiatus due to real life illness and unfortunately passed away in August 2023. This ended the future plans and Uncle Howdy gimmick. It was rumored that Bo Dallas will return with THe Uncle Howdy gimmick to honor his brother Wyatt by continuing the storyline. However a recent report shuts down the rumors.

Bo Dallas WWE return?

On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio (WOR), Wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer reported that the company is done with Uncle Howdy and it is believed as of now that Dallas will not be returning to WWE.

Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio said,

“I think Uncle Howdy is done. I mean, the only reason Bo Dallas was even being used was as a favor to Bray Wyatt. So I mean, it’s possible they’ll use him, but I don’t expect him to be back.”

Bo Dallas last appeared on television in 2019, where he was a part of the B-Team with Curtis Axel and participated in the Tag Team Turmoil to determine the WWE Tag Team World Cup Winners, which was won by The O.C. Dallas was then moved off television and wrestled for international live events in Europe.
