CM Punk responds to WWE Survivor Series return rumors

CM Punk’s WWE return rumors is one such thing that has been circulating in the wrestling industry for years since Punk got released from WWE in 2014. He then pursued a career in MMA, did commentary, and went back to pursue a career in Pro-wrestling. He debuted in AEW in 2021 and had a 3-year successful run in the company, holding the AEW World Championship twice. However after a backstage confrontation went physical he got released from AEW.
Since Punk was released from AEW, there were various rumors and reports that Punk is looking to make his comeback to WWE and had talks with the officials. It was rumored that Punk will be returning to WWE at Survivor Series 2023 in front of his home crowd in Chicago, Illinois. At this stage CM Punk gave an update which shuts the Survivor Series return rumors.
CM Punk's will not be at Survivor Series
CM Punk recently appeared on a Chicago Sports Talk Radio Station and was interviewed by 670 The Score, where Punk was directly asked about his appearance at Survivor Series next month, to which Punk answered that he doesn't want to enter into anyone's bubble as he looks to spend his time with his dog Larry, as he suffers ACL injury.
CM Punk was asked "Are you going to be at WWE Survivor Series next month?"
To which Punk responded,
“They’re asking if I’m going to be there? I think it’s sold out. Tickets are hard to get”
“I don't want to burst anybody's bubble. I'm kind of just sitting at home and enjoying this beautiful Chicago weather. I have an injury in the family. My dog [Larry] blew his dog's ACL. I'm literally just spending my time with him. I know that sounds crazy, but he is my son, and I take care of him and treat him as such.”
As Punk himself spoke about not being a part of Survivor Series, is there any chances of seeing him inside WWE Arena? We need to wait as there is still a lot of time left.
