Cody Rhodes & Kenny Omega set to reunite to star in new Netflix series

Cody Rhodes and Kenny Omega played a major role in establishing All Elite Wrestling and both serve as the Executive Vice-Presidents of the company. They have a long history even before AEW, as they were the bitter rivals in NJPW and ROH over the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship and over the leadership of the Bullet Club. They never had a match at AEW and as per their contract status, it is almost impossible for both of them to share the ring with. However, they are all set to reunite, but this time not in the wrestling ring, but beyond that for a Television Series.

Rhodes & Omega reunite in Netflix Series

Netflix has now in the production process of its new Netflix Animation series Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix, in which WWE's Cody Rhodes and Kenny Omega will be making their vocal appearances for their anime versions. This made the two Bullet Club members reunite almost one and a half years later. Kenny Omega and Cody Rhodes posted on X about their reunion by retweeting their anime scenes.

Omega said on X that he is overwhelmed to see positive reviews and describe his character is a heck of a fun ride, but that isn't the only thing he is happy. He is so excited to see his old friends in the series too.

Kenny Omega posted with the writings,

“If the overwhelmingly positive reviews aren’t enough, take it from me that #CaptainLaserhawk on #Netflix is a heck of a fun ride! (Not an attempt at self promotion whatsoever.) You may see one of my old friends make an appearance too 😉.” and shared a scene of his appearance.

Cody Rhodes on the other hand posted his appearance and tagged Netflix Anime on X. Cody posted, “🤯 @NetflixAnime,”

It seems like a fun filled anime is on its way to reunite the Elite and former elite together after a long time in an Anime format.
