Damien Priest to cash-in Money in the Bank contract at WWE Fastlane: Reports

Damien Priest won the Money in the Bank Briefcase, with which he can cash-in the contract for a championship match anywhere, anytime. Since winning the briefcase, things didn’t turn out well for Judgment Day. Tensions started developing between Damien Priest and Finn Balor, which caused Balor to lose his World Heavyweight Championship title shot on different occasions. The briefcase was considered as cursed, so Balor and McDonagh advised to get rid of the Briefcase to restore peace.
As Balor and Priest were rising tensions, they somehow managed to win the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship with the help of Dominik Mysterio, Rhea Ripley and JD McDonagh. After which JD McDonagh presented him with a brand new “Senor Money in the Bank” to get rid of the old-cursed Briefcase. It is now reported that it is time for Damien Priest to cash-in the “Senor Money in the Bank”.
Cash-in at Fastlane
According to the Xero News report, they asked about potential cash in after or during the Last Man Standing Match at Fastlane, to which they were “told to keep an eye out”. It is also reported that the main event for the Fastlane is believed to be either The Last Man Standing Match or Knight, Cena vs The Bloodline. Which will be locked on this Friday.
Damien Priest also has a match at Fastlane, where Priest and Balor will be defending their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship against Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso.
Damien Priest’s Cash-in strategy
In September, when Priest won the Tag Team titles, he appeared on WWE’s The Bup, where Priest was asked about his Cash-in strategy to which he said,
“I’m not going to cash in this contract in a respectful way. I’m going to wait until my opponent’s beaten, battered, useless. That’s when I’ll cash in. So for all the champions, when you’re down and out and you think things can’t get worse, I’ll be seeing you.”
There is no better way to cash-in after Rollins vs Nakamura Last Man Standing match. As both the men will risk their life on the line and could barely stand after the win. However, we need to wait and watch, as anything could happen at Fastlane. Do you think Priest was successful in his Money in the Bank cash-in? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
