John Cena vs Solo Sikoa made official for WWE Crown Jewel 2023

John Cena returned to WWE since day one of September and has been regular to SmackDown till date. He hosted Payback 2023 for the very first time and acted as Special Guest Referee, Backstage interviewer and so on. He wrestled for the first time in India at WWE SuperStar Spectacle teaming up with Seth Rollins and defeated Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci.

He picked hup feud with The Bloodline and battled Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso by teaming up with LA Knight and won. Although Cena won the two tag team matches he featured in, Cena never had a singles match since WrestleMania 39. Now WWE has officially booked a single's match for John Cena at Crown Jewel.

Last week on SmackDown, Cena stepped into the ring and revealed some of the harsh facts. Where Cena revealed that he lost his energy and was planning to retire since he hasn't won a match in the last 5 years. However the WWE Universe cheered him and gave him some hope  which made him call anyone from the locker room to step up for a fight. Solo Sikoa responded to the challenge and stepped up for a fight.

Hours before this week's episode of SmackDown, People magazine revealed that Cena will go one on one with Solo Sikoa at Crown Jewel, which WWE confirmed through its social media.

This week on SmackDown, Cena said that this is the most important match of his career to turn his losing streak back to win. To which Paul Heyman responded and dropped spoilers of what's going to happen at Crown Jewel and Solo Sikoa showed a preview of it.

As per this match is concerned, this match is booked beyond the current schedule of John Cena. It is the first singles match for John Cena since WrestleMania 39 and Solo Sikoa's first singles pay-per-view match.

WWE Crown Jewel will be held on November 4, 2023 at Mohammed Abdu Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. So far WWE has confirmed seven matches for the show including five championship matches and two singles matches.
