Adam Pearce when Triple H made him Raw General Manager said that he no longer wanted to compete with himself and will make Raw the No.1 sports entertainment show on the planet.

“Now I'm not competing with myself anymore. I have somebody else to look at. We can play that chess game; we can see who in fact will make their broadcast the No. 1 sports entertainment broadcast on the planet. I'm betting on me, and I've got a headstart.”
After Triple H introduced Nick Aldis as the SmackDown General Manager, Aldis introduced himself as the GM of the No.1 Sports Entertainment Show in the world.
Nick Aldis on his introduction speech said,
“First of all I'd like to thank WWE for the opportunity of a lifetime to be the General Manager of the No.1 Sports Entertainment brand in the world today, SmackDown.”
To which Pearce had a small chit chat with Aldis, after which Aldis said, “Adam, I look forward to some healthy competition between our two brands.”
