LA Knight vs Roman Reigns to main event Crown Jewel 2023
A day before SmackDown, LA Times confirmed that Roman Reigns will defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against LA Knight at Crown Jewel 2023, which is held on November 4 at Mohammed Abdu Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Following which Paul Heyman confirmed the match on SmackDown and told that a contract signing would take place next week in SmackDown.
As the match got confirmed, Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship will be held at the main event of the show rather than the World Heavyweight Championship match between Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre; and Fatal 5-Way Match for Women's World Championship. This marks the first pay-per-view main event match for LA Knight.
