Seth Rollins sets impressive record at WWE Fastlane 2023
Seth Rollins won the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Night of Champion at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia, by defeating AJ Styles in the finals to become the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion. Rollins successfully defended his championship against his opponents on various occasions on the regular weekly episodes week after week and proved himself as a fighting champion.
He recently had a feud with Shinsuke Nakamura and successfully retained the title at Fastlane in a Last Man Standing Match. Rollins not only retained the World Champion, but also has set an impressive record at WWE Fastlane.
Longest Reigning Inaugural Men’s World Champion
By defeating Nakamura at WWE Fastlane 2023 and by continuing the reign, Seth Rollins has become the longest reigning inaugural World Champion in the Men’s division. Rollins has now crossed 134 days as the first ever World Champion, by breaking his own record of 133 days as the inaugural NXT Champion.
When it comes to the main roster, Triple H, who was the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion in 2002, he held the championship for 76 days. Considering the WWE Championship, Buddy Rogers the inaugural WWWF Champion held the title for 36 days.
