AEW CEO Tony Khan seems to be obsessed with WWE and has been taking shots on the company, Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon.

WWE and AEW had a clash this Tuesday night, where AEW Dynamite “Title Tuesday” competed with WWE’s NXT at the same time. WWE booked some of the big names for the show including John Cena, The Undertaker, Cody Rhodes, LA Knight, Paul Heyman and Asuka for the show to counter AEW’s show and Adam Copeland’s in-ring debut.

Triple H & Shawn Michaels

A day before the clash, Khan retweeted Haus of Wrestling’s tweet of “Triple H & Shawn Michaels Look to Send Tony Khan A Message” with a photo with the wording “bald assholes,” to mean either Paul Levesque or Shawn Michaels, or both, who were putting together the rival show.

Tony Khan on Vince McMahon

On October 12, Tony Khan replied to a fan tweet of “The difference is that Vince has the power and influence to take them cheap shots. He's earned the right to make them. Tony Khan is Vince if you order him from Temu. You can "shop like a billionaire" but you'll get the cheapest tat doing so!” by retweeting it by writing “Yes. Vince has allegedly used his power and influence to shoot a lot of shots.”

Khan on John Cena & The Undertaker’s appearance on NXT

The same day Khan wrote, “This week, 2 active decades-long ratings streaks from 2 great legends were ended. With all due respect, until this week’s head-to-head AEW on TBS vs. WWE in the USA, neither John Cena nor Undertaker had even been on a WWE show with under one million total viewers and under 400,000 in the demo” taking a direct shot on the WWE veterans and NXT.

Alleged WWE for breaking AEW contracts

Khan blamed WWE for using his hard times to pull AEW talents by breaking the contract. He wrote “This weekend marks 1 year since @MayoClinic saved my mom's life. During her ordeal many AEW talent came to me alleging WWE tampering, inducing them to break their contracts. I'll never forget these phone calls at her side in the hospital; it's when business became personal for me.”

He added,

“Not that I should be surprised, but the same WWE avatar accounts that spam me every day, no matter what I say or what it's about, now turning their wrath to Mom recovering from a near death experience, is why I straight hate these people to the bottom of my heart with all my soul.”

Next Clash

Khan is now ready for the next clash with WWE, as AEW Rampage is scheduled to clash with WWE SmackDown on November 17, 2023 at the same time.
