WWE to honor Bray Wyatt by continuing Firefly Funhouse storyline
Bray Wyatt was one of the great talents, with unique creative story lines. He brought a number of gimmicks and segments to the wrestling industry including the "Fiend", "Eater of the World", "Firefly Funhouse", "Uncle Howdy", "Sister Abigail" and so on. However, when he was about to start a new storyline, he unfortunately passed away due to Myocardial infarction (heart attack). It is now reported that WWE are likely to continue Wyatt's Firefly Funhouse storyline in a different angle.
Firefly Funhouse to resume
According to Ringside News report, they discussed with a tenured member of the creative team, who said that someone has proposed a creative concept to bring the Uncle Howdy gimmick back. Although
Uncle Howdy's comeback the gimmick is not one of the "higher-ups" it was "emerging" from the proposals. The report stated that Triple H is "receptive to listening to ideas rather than imposing them."
Naturally imposing was a McMahon kind of approach, but this new era which the company is currently in were subjecting to more openly flowing ideas.
BWE wrote on X, that the Firefly Funhouse and Wyatt 6 ideas are still on the creative desk and they are just a matter of time away from executing it into a new storyline.
BWE wrote on X,
“The idea of the Funhouse and Wyatt6 are still on the table. All parties agreed to move on with it and deliver what’s best to honor the name of Bray. It’s a matter of timing now.”
In September, the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase attended Wyatt's funeral and reported that Wyatt was about to start a new storyline in September, but his unfortunate passing left everything behind.
If WWE creative wishes to bring the Firefly Funhouse back with Uncle Howdy, this could be so emotional and will be a great tribute to his contributions.
