CM Punk’s next WWE appearance date and potential venue revealed
The straight-edge superstar made a return after nine-year hiatus.
In a surprising turn of events, CM Punk made a dramatic return to WWE at the 2023 Survivor Series: WarGames, after nearly a decade of absence. His brief appearance during the event’s final moments sent shockwaves through the crowd at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois, with chants echoing throughout the venue.
Reports from PWInsider suggest that fans can expect to see more of Punk in the near future. According to WWE sources, Punk is slated to appear on the upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw, scheduled for November 11, 2023, at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. It seems that Punk will be joining the Raw roster, with intriguing storylines and feuds anticipated.
Punk’s last appearance on Raw dates back to January 20, 2014, where he triumphed over Billy Gunn. His final WWE match was at the WWE Royal Rumble 2014. Despite entering as the first entrant, he was eliminated by Kane, who had already been eliminated.
Following this event, Punk vanished from television and was subsequently released from WWE due to a prolonged absence. He then retired from his professional wrestling career to pursue other interests.
Triple H, commenting on Punk’s long-awaited return, believes that Punk has grown significantly over the years. He stated, “A lot of time has gone by, almost 10 years, right? If you are the same person you were 10 years ago, you’ve messed up. Everybody grows. Everybody changes. I’m a different person, he’s a different person, this is a different company. We’re all on the same even starting ground.”
