Kevin Owens suspended by Nick Aldis on WWE SmackDown
Before the latest episode of SmackDown, WWE released an exclusive video package, where Kevin Owens met SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis. Both discussed filling the vacant seat in the commentary desk as Corey Graves is on leave due to his newborn son. Owens said that he could probably do that as he doesn’t have any match that night.
Nick Aldis accepted his proposal and ordered him to follow certain rules, where Aldis said that Owens should only do the Color Commentary role and not to be involved in any fights. Owens agreed to his rule and kicked-off Friday Night SmackDown with a tie presented by Aldis.
Owens continues to rock in the commentary desk as a color commentator obeying Aldis’ rule. However during the match between LA Knight and Grayson Waller, Owens started making fun of Waller, who mocked Owens for the past two weeks with Austin Theory. Owens paused Waller’s weird reaction during the fight, when Knight poured water on Waller and how Owens punched Theory and Waller two weeks before.
After Waller lost his match, he brought Austin Theory with him to ringside to bully Kevin Owens. Theory pushed Owens and poured a bottle of water on his head. Owens tried to stay cool, as Cole advised not to be angry to avoid suspension. Owens however acted like everything was cool and asked co-commenter whether they threw the bottle on them. Owens then lost control, kept the talkback down and chased them to the entrance ramp. Owens attacked Waller from the back, took Theory to the ring, attacked him, and hit Waller with a stunner.
Owens was escorted out from the commentary after he attacked Waller and Theory. In an exclusive footage, Cathy Kelly interviewed Kevin Owens backstage, where she asked out his puberty and how was his night in the commentary, where Owens said that everything was fun until Theory and Waller came and ruined that and said that he went through puberty a long ago.
However, SmackDown General Manager came over as Owens apologized and returned his tie. Nick Aldis said “Kevin you’re suspended”. Owens argued, but Aldis said that he broke the one rule of no physicality, which Owens broke and he had no other choice. Owens had an ‘Halls’ for his throat and chased Aldis to convince him. However there are no other updates, which means he is still in suspension.
Kevin Owens & General Managers
This is not the first time that Kevin Owens has been having an issue with General Managers. Owens previously had an issue with previous General Managers such as Daniel Bryan, Shane McMahon and Mick Foley in the past, which is still continuing as a Nightmare.
