Is Sasha Banks (Mercedes Moné) returning to WWE?

Sasha Banks is one of the four Horsewomen of WWE, who played a major role in the Women’s revolution of the company. She is one of the go-to stars who set and broke multiple records for the company during her first run. Banks however left WWE in 2022 following disagreements with the company, vacating the tag team titles with Naomi. Banks was indefinitely suspended and got released from the company. After which she went touring Japan and having a great run in the Japanese promotions. However, Mone’s WWE return has been rumored then and now and a recent report suggests her current status.

Sasha Banks’s WWE return?

A month ago, Mereces Mone (fka Sasha Banks) on her social media said that she could not wait to return to the ring and could expect him to wrestle for a company in 2024.

“I cannot wait to be back in the ring. Expect me to return with some wrestling company in 2024. For sure, I cannot wait to be back in the squared circle.”

Ever since Mercedes Mone appeared at AEW ALL In in Wembley, London to watch the show, It was rumored that Mone is in talks with AEW and could sign with AEW. However, Fightful reported that Mone’s plans with AEW are no longer in talks. The report also states that she is in talks with WWE and is demanding a huge sum of money and had never heard about the ongoing talks and never heard from them further.

“So a lot of times, you’ll see me get frustrated with irresponsible aggregation. And that happened very heavily, specifically on Facebook with a Sasha Banks story. SportsKeeda ran an article, and nobody reached out to me or anything to clarify any language, which is always a possibility, but it got aggregated by like dozens of Facebook accounts that said that I claimed that Mercedes/Sasha was demanding huge money from WWE. I have not heard anything of talks with WWE.”

“What I said is I heard that the number that she’s after is a lot, and if I were WWE, I would pay it. I didn’t say who or what kind of talks were happening. And that type of context is very, very important. But I have not heard of any ongoing talks, with them, for a return or anything like that. So, it’s a little bit frustrating in that regard, but I haven’t heard anything lately. Besides that, the once working plans for AEW and Mercedes are no longer working plans.”

Bayley has also teased Sasha Bank’s return most recently on her social media posts. It would be exciting to see The Boss back in WWE, but however need to wait to confirm on her statys.
