WWE superstar Liv Morgan arrested for possession of drugs in Florida; Mugshot posted online
Liv Morgan has been suffering a legitimate Shoulder injury during her tag team match earlier this year and has been in a long absence from television. The former SmackDown Women’s Champion recently spotted at “The Iron Claw” show premiere with fellow WWE stars after a long time. It was rumored that Liv Morgan could possibly return very soon, most possibly by January 2024. However she was reported to be arrested and suspended from the company, which could potentially delay her return..
Liv Morgan’s Arrest and Report
As per PWInsider reports, WWE superstar Liv Morgan got arrested a day ago at 6.30 PM in Sumter County, Florida at a traffic stop. It was revealed that the 29-year-old was arrested for marijuana possession in a small packet, not more than 20 grams.
The arrest report also states that the Sumter County deputy approached Morgan’s Yellow Jeep and detected the odor of Marijuana. Inside her vehicle, there was a small plastic bag containing marijuana and a vape tape that held an oil-like substance, that test proven to be marijuana. Morgan was bonded out for $3000 USD and was released last night at 10.04 PM.
Possible actions from WWE
Following the possession, violation, arrest, fine and release, Liv Morgan has been punished by WWE for breach of the Wellness Policy and they have suspended her for 30 days.
WWE’s Wellness Policy says:
“Any WWE Talent, who is arrested, convicted or who admits to a violation of law relating to use, possession, purchase, sale or distribution of drugs will be in material breach of his/her contract with WWE and subject to immediate dismissal.”
