Roman Reigns stands tall as the undisputed king of WWE, having dominated the Universal Championship scene for an impressive three and a half years. Adding to his illustrious reign, the Tribal Chief seized another world title in 2022, firmly establishing his status as the top dog in the wrestling universe. Currently, he holds both titles with an iron grip, a testament to his unparalleled prowess in the ring.

In stark contrast to the regular appearances of other WWE superstars on RAW, SmackDown, and NXT, Roman Reigns adopts a more strategic approach to his schedule. Preferring quality over quantity, the Head of the Table reserves his in-ring appearances for the grandest Premium Live Events and makes sporadic entrances on SmackDown episodes, leaving fans eagerly anticipating his every move.

This Friday marks a significant moment as the Tribal Chief is set to make his return to the blue brand after his triumph at Crown Jewel 2023, where he vanquished LA Knight to retain his coveted title on the grand stage in Saudi Arabia. The wrestling landscape has undergone considerable shifts since his last appearance, with both new and familiar adversaries vying for a chance to dethrone the reigning champion.

As Roman Reigns steps back into the SmackDown spotlight, speculation runs rife about the topics he might address and the actions he could take. The wrestling world is abuzz with anticipation as fans brace themselves for the captivating narrative that is sure to unfold when the Tribal Chief reclaims his spot at the Head of the Table.

Here are 5 things Roman Reigns might say when he makes his return to this week’s WWE SmackDown

5. Beefing with Nick Aldis

Tensions escalate in WWE as Roman Reigns finds himself at odds with the assertive WWE official, Nick Aldis. Known for his no-nonsense approach, Aldis recently clashed with Paul Heyman, boldly expressing his willingness to sacrifice the entire Bloodline to secure a deal with Randy Orton. This audacious move is bound to infuriate Reigns, who has a history of manipulating WWE officials.

As the Tribal Chief returns to SmackDown, a collision between these two strong-willed figures seems inevitable. Reigns, notorious for instilling fear, may confront Aldis with intense verbal barrages or public humiliation, setting the stage for a power struggle within the WWE hierarchy.

4. Roman Reigns addresses CM Punk

The Survivor Series: WarGames delivered not one, not two, but three sensational comebacks to Chicago. Randy Orton graced the ring, R-Truth made a memorable appearance, and, shockingly, CM Punk returned to the WWE spotlight.

Since his comeback, Punk has been unapologetically vocal about his ambitions, setting his sights on the WrestleMania main event. The Voice of the Voiceless did acknowledge Roman Reigns but highlighted the initial association with being a “Paul Heyman Guy.” As anticipation builds, the WWE universe eagerly awaits Roman Reigns’ response to Punk’s return. The enigmatic Tribal Chief’s stance on Punk, given their history, adds a layer of intrigue to the unfolding narrative.

3. The Tribal Chief questions Paul Heyman’s loyalty

With Punk’s return there is a huge chance that Reigns might start questioning Paul Heyman on his loyalty. Paul Heyman and CM Punk has had there fair share of history. As, Punk says, he was the “OG” Paul Heyman guy during WWE Smackdown last week, which might create tension between the Wisemen and The Tribal Chief.

There is a huge chance Reigns getting angry on Paul Heyman an whether he knew Punk was going to return, as everyone would remember when Lesnar returned, how shocked and vulnerable Reigns was as he doubted Paul Heyman every second. So, it would be interesting to see what happens during this week’s Smackdown.

2. Reigns stating Jimmy Uso’s situation with The Bloodline

The unpredictable narrative surrounding Jimmy Uso’s standing within The Bloodline takes center stage as Roman Reigns prepares to address the matter on Friday Night SmackDown. After Jimmy and Jey Uso’s departure from the faction earlier this year, a twist of fate saw Jimmy inadvertently cost Jey a crucial WWE Universal Championship match against The Tribal Chief.

Despite finding a measure of redemption, Roman has yet to officially reintegrate Jimmy into the fold. The looming uncertainty leaves fans speculating about Roman’s imminent decision – whether he will extend a welcoming hand to Jimmy, fully reinstating him, or if he’ll deliver a decisive blow, potentially casting Jimmy out of the influential stable.

1. Roman Reigns goes after Randy Orton

Things have been pretty wild in the WWE since Roman Reigns took a break. Survivor Series had this epic comeback from Randy Orton, who’s now on a mission for payback against The Bloodline. Apparently, they messed him up last year, and he’s not letting it slide.

So, when Roman comes back to SmackDown, it’s pretty much expected he’s gonna have something to say about The Viper. Maybe he’ll challenge Randy to a showdown, or knowing Roman, he might just brush him off, thinking Orton’s not a real threat after that back injury. Either way, it’s gonna be interesting to see how this unfolds.
