Big E provides major update on his WWE in-ring return

Former World Champion and the New Day Member, Big E suffered a broken neck in a match between Brawling Brutes and New Day in March 2022. Where Ridge Holland of Brawling Brutes tried a suplex on Big E outside the ring, which landed on his neck. Big E was carried on a stretcher after the match and was admitted for medical observation. He later announced on social media to his fans, that he was suffering from fractures to his C1 vertebrae and C6 vertebrae and there was no issue with the ligament or spinal cord.
Big E and his New Day members gave an update on his health before stating that he is 100% doing good. However Big E on the SummerSlam press meet stated that he doesn’t want to risk his life anymore. Now Big E himself has provided an update on his WWE in-ring return.
Big E WWE return update
Big E recently appeared for an interview with TMZ, where he gave an update on his injured neck and stated that his neck bones are fused. He continued stating that he looks forward to making a smart decision that could be best for his future.
Big E said,
“It’s all together, the bones connect to the other bones. I just wanna make a smart decision, you know, I didn’t start wrestling to end up in a wheelchair, so yeah wanna make sure I’m just making the best decision for myself…I don’t have a timeline unfortunately.”
Big E’s answer is quite similar to his previous interview which he gave in July 2023, where he said,
“I feel great. Unfortunately, I don’t have a timetable. The great thing is I feel 100 percent. I don’t even feel like someone who broke their neck. My mobility is incredible and great. My strength is great, I have no issues whatsoever. I wish I had some answers on returning to the ring. I have nothing, unfortunately, but the beautiful thing is I feel great. My body feels great. I’m really thankful for that. Life is good. I’m blessed.”
It seems like the former WWE Champion is still confused with his in-ring return, whether to continue or wrap things up. We hope the Big New Day Member would be back in action, however everything is in his hands.
