Cody Rhodes addresses rumors & vows to win WWE Royal Rumble 2024

Cody Rhodes has had a long wait to finish his story since his WWE return in 2022. He won the 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble match and went on to headline WrestleMania 40. Cody was so close to winning the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, but was spoiled at the last minute due to interference from The Bloodline. Since then he never received a world title shot and is being stuck with hurdles.
Cody has ended almost all the feuds and is now looking forward to winning the Men’s Royal Rumble match to get back to the place he deserves. However there have been a number of rumors like The Rock would replace him to face Roman Reigns and so on. Cody had now addressed the rumors and dropped major spoilers after SmackDown.
Cody Rhodes looks to win the Men’s Royal Rumble 2024
After the January 19th episode of SmackDown went off the air, Cody Rhodes had a dark match with Shinsuke Nakamura and won in his hometown Atlanta, Georgia. After the match, Cody had a mic in his hands and dropped spoilers based on the current rumors. Cody says that he will win the Royal Rumble back to back and he will bring the title home.
Cody Rhodes said,
“I’ve done a few silly things, but all of them were in the efforts to give the city, the town, the community that raised me something to remember. When you’re home, you share things that only you would share at home. Here’s one. There is only one thing that makes me tired of coming home. The only thing that makes me tired when coming home is coming home empty-handed. I think we need to change that.
“And I am not immune to all the news, everything that’s happening, what will happen, what won’t happen. All I tell you is this. I’m the right man for the job, I’m the best man for the job. I’m heading into the Royal Rumble, I’m gonna go back-to-back. And I’m gonna bring a championship back home to Atlanta.”
Will Cody Rhodes be able to finish the story this year? Will he be winning the 2024 Royal Rumble? Comment your thoughts.
