Top five funniest R-Truth moments in WWE

R-Truth is one of the most famous and funniest wrestlers of all time, especially for his humorous character. Truth is a two-time NWA World Champion, two-time WWE United States Champion, 54-time WWE 24/7 Champion, one-time WWE Tag Team Champion and 2 time WWE Hardcore Champion.

Although Truth is a multi-time champion, he is known for his hilarious segments. The funniest guy in WWE has now turned 52, to celebrate that we take a look at five of the most hilarious moments of R-Truth in WWE.

5. Self-Knockout

In late 2015 on an episode of Raw, Truth was invited as a special guest for The Miz Tv alongside Goldust, Ryback, Heath Slater and Ryback.

Big Show interfered with them and cleared the ring by knocking wrestlers out. When Big Show was about to knock out Truth, he stopped him and knocked out himself with a self-KO punch. This made the WWE fans and The World Strongest Athlete break character with laughter.

4. Hide & Seek

Throughout R-Truth’s 54 times 24/7 title reign, he sneaked into a number of places and played hide & seek with his opponents. One such thing happened during the match between Cesaro and Ricochet, which turned out to be hilarious in front of the live crowd.

During the match, while Cesaro tried to pull the table underneath the ring R-Truth was pulled out along with the table. Truth vented underneath the ring to escape from the chasing bunch of challengers. This segment was hilarious with his funnier facial expressions.

3. Acrophobia

In 2011, R-Truth came to cut a promo with other participants of the Money in the Bank ladder match. Where he claimed that he should directly challenge John Cena for the title and not in the MITB match as he has Acrophobia (fear of heights & ladders) and Arachnophobia (fear of spiders).

Truth continued the Acrophobia storyline for years and finally conquered the fear. In 2015, during the final build for the MITB match, Truth came out and said that he is cleared from Acrophobia and swore to win the briefcase, in which he was not even a part of it. In the 2016 Royal Rumble, Truth thought it was a MITB match and took a ladder to climb and grab it, but was eliminated by Kane. However, these segments made everyone crack out in laughter.

2. Makes Brock Lesnar break character

Brock Lesnar is one of the toughest guys, who hardly breaks out his character. However, in 2020, Truth interrupted Lesnar and Paul Heyman and cut a promo declaring his participation in the Royal Rumble match. Truth on a confusion thought Heyman was the one who entered the rumble match and challenged him to throw him over the top rope.

Heyman said that not him, but Lesnar is the one who is entering the match. Truth wasted no time and quickly un-declared him from the match. The whole segment was hilarious, which even made the Beast burst out in laughter.

1. The Judgment Day video tape

Truth himself declared into The Judgment Day and released a tribute video on Raw, where he stated that he wished to be in The Judgment Day ever since he was born and his dream came true now. He places himself in Judgment Day’s great moments. He even thought of Dominik as two people, Tom and Nick. The complete video package was so hilarious that it made it into the first spot in our list.
