Kurt Angle is one of the most successful professional wrestlers of all time. He is one of the few wrestlers to reach great heights in pro wrestling from an amateur wrestling background. The Olympian had great success in both WWE and TNA/Impact Wrestling and retired from pro-wrestling in 2019.

Angle had his last match against Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35 and never wrestled again. He has had some sporadic appearances on WWE television since then. Angle had now spoken about his current status with WWE and whether he would be wrestling again and he gave a quick update of it.

Kurt Angle’s WWE status

Kurt Angle recently appeared for an interview with Steel City Comic Con, where the WWE Hall of Famer was asked whether he could do another promo with WWE, about his television return and so on to which Angle said,

“Yeah, I’ll talk all day and night, but I’m not going to wrestle. I’m 55 going on 80. WWE has utilized me. Last year, I did a segment in Pittsburgh where I had the milk truck in the arena and I sprayed down Chad Gable and Otis with milk. That was a remake of what I did against Steve Austin in 2001.

They also had a birthday celebration for me. I do certain events with them. I’m still signed with them, I have a contract with WWE. I’m sure they’re going to possibly use me for something at WrestleMania or Royal Rumble or something. They always come up with something. I’ll eventually do something crazy with WWE and I’m sure I will in the future.”

It seems like we could see Kurt Angle on WWE television on some of the important occassions of the company like Royal Rumble and WrestleMania as the legend himself said. Get ready with your “You Suck!” chants for Kurt, when he’s back on television.
