Major change in Brock Lesnar’s WWE Royal Rumble return following Vince McMahon Lawsuit

Brock Lesnar signed a one-year contract in WWE after WrestleMania 39 and was reported that he is booked to have only five matches under his current contract.
Since WrestleMania 39, Lesnar has fought three matches against Cody Rhodes. The first match was at Backlash in Puerto Rico, where Lesnar lost to Cody Rhodes. The second match was at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia, where he won. The third match was at SummerSlam in Detroit, where Cody won to end the feud.
After that, Lesnar went on a long hiatus and never appeared for the rest of 2023. It was reported that Lesnar will make his return on the road to WrestleMania 40 and especially at Royal Rumble. However a recent report suggests that Lesnar’s return status could be changed.
Brock Lesnar’s return status
Fightful Select previously reported that Brock Lesnar’s WWE return has been in discussion internally and it was revealed that Royal Rumble was initially considered as the actual venue. However, Fightful on the recent report revealed that Brock Lesnar’s WWE return plans could be changed due to his likely involvement in the sexual trafficking allegations involving Vince McMahon filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant.
As per the plaintiff it was said that “a world-famous athlete and former UFC Heavyweight Champion with whom WWE was actively trying to sign to a new contract (and ultimately did sign that contract)”. Although Lesnar’s name is not directly associated, The Wall Street Journal’s report on the lawsuit identified that the athlete is Brock Lesnar.
It is unknown official information from WWE about Brock Lesnar’s return or cancellation or Lesnar’s involvement in the alligations.
