Naomi (Trinity Fatu) expected to make WWE comeback soon: Report

Naomi (Trinity Fatu) has been in WWE since 2009 and is one of the fan favourite female wrestlers. She is a former two time SmackDown Women’s Champion and a one-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion. During her tag team championship reign due to a creative dispute with the company Naomi and her tag team partner Sasha Banks vacated the title and walked out of the company.
After which WWE suspended them and released them from their contract. She then joined Impact Wrestling under her original name Trinity Fatu and is the current Impact Knockouts Women’s Champion there. As there were talks earlier that her tag team partner and WWE were in talks for a return, it is now reported that Naomi is expected to return to WWE sooner.
Naomi’s WWE return
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that he had heard with sources from WWE and Impact Wrestling that Trinity Fatu (aka Naomi) is expected to return to WWE sooner than later. WWE also has major interest in bringing her back to the company.
Fightful reported that,
“In speaking with WWE sources, not only did they think there was a good chance she could end back up in the company, many sources claimed they expected it. There were also sources within IMPACT Wrestling who told Fightful that they expected it to happen sooner than later. One WWE source told Fightful on Tuesday that ‘something huge would have to happen for her to not end up back in WWE sooner than later, but this is a crazy free agent period.’”
Naomi could be a great addition to the company at present, which could boost the women’s division. This could be her opportunity to right the wrongs and there are a number of ways she could contribute to the company. If her return is confirmed sooner, she could probably be at Royal Rumble 2024. However we need to wait until an official return or information is made.
