Major update on Finn Balor’s WWE contract status

Finn Balor is one of the most talented Irish professional wrestlers who is known for his great in-ring skills, athleticism and charismatic personality. He has been in WWE for almost a decade and is one the most underrated wrestlers of the company.

Balor’s decade long journey has seen a lot of ups and downs, however, he has managed the situations and used the opportunities right to become the Grand Slam Champion of the company. He is currently a member of the Judgment Day faction and is one half of the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion. As The Judgment Day is getting ready for the road to WrestleMania 40, Finn Balor’s WWE contract status has been revealed.

Finn Balor’s WWE status

Previously before the Royal Rumble PLE, Wrestling Inc. reported that Finn Balor’s WWE contract is said to expire immediately after WrestleMania 40, but he is yet to be approached by WWE to sign a new contract. 

Now, Fightful has confirmed with the sources that Balor’s WWE contract is indeed getting expired by this year, but not immediately following WrestleMania. Instead the sources that they have heard from claim that Balor’s contract would be up within a few months after WrestleMania.

The report added that Finn Balor still hasn’t been contacted by WWE regarding the new deal or contract extension. He is not the only one nearing to contract expiration as numerous top wrestlers such as Drew McIntyre, Sheamus and Becky Lynch’s contract is also said to be up at the same time. However, Becky seems to have shown interest in continuing with WWE.
