Four mistakes WWE should not make at Elimination Chamber 2024

WWE Elimination Chamber 2024 is the upcoming 14th Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, which will take place on February 24, 2024 from the Optus Stadium in Perth, Western Australia, Australia. This is the first time WWE has been hosting a pay-per-view in Australia since Super Show-Down in 2018 and is the third consecutive time Elimination Chamber is hosted outside the United States.
It is expected to be a grand event with a huge attendance, probably considered as a preview of WrestleMania. WWE has booked some interesting matches and segments for the show, however the company should not make these four mistakes at Elimination Chamber 2024.
4. Not featuring Aussie stars
WWE had set a big stage for Rhea Ripley in her home country with a Women’s World Championship match against The Irresistible Force, Nia Jax. However, there are no fellow Australian Wrestlers on the card. Usually WWE gives importance to native stars and books a huge match for them, but native Australianss such as Bronson Reed and Indi Hartwell weren’t part of the card. WWE should book them in some kind of a segment or a showcase match, which could bring them great support from the home crowd.
3. Not booking WrestleMania feuds
WWE has booked a total of four matches for the event, with two championship matches and two elimination chamber matches. WWE should not only book it as a regular match, but should also set them the stage for WrestleMania, with connecting storylines. The Multi-starred Elimination Chamber could be a perfect place to set the feud between stars. However failing to do so could result in a kind of exhibition match without a proper storytelling.
2. Repeated Elimination Chamber Winners
WWE should not book repeated elimination chamber winners as it would spoil the total momentum on the road to WrestleMania. Booking the same winners and matches over and over will make WrestleMania a place of rematch, for which WWE already have a Backlash pay-per-view. WWE should come up with new winners, resulting in a fresh feud at WrestleMania 40.
1. Nia Jax injuring Rhea Ripley
Nia Jax is known for injuring WWE stars, either intentionally or unintentionally. However Jax should not injure Rhea Ripley during their match, as this could make the road to WrestleMania worse. WWE has been subjected to a lot of change of plans due to a number of last minute injuries. However an injury to Rhea Ripley in her home country could not only affect her momentum, but also the WrestleMania plans.
