Roman Reigns set to make history at WWE WrestleMania 40

Roman Reigns is one of the greatest professional wrestlers of the modern era, who has been a part of some of the biggest moments of the show. He has been in the company for over a decade and has been a top star of the company throughout his journey. He is a nine-time champion in WWE with six world championship wins. He is the current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, with a monumental reign of 1265+ days (4th longest reign).
Roman is one of the constant main eventers of the show of shows at WrestleMania. So far Reigns main evented seven WrestleManias. As Cody Rhodes picked Roman as his opponent for the main event of WrestleMania 40, he will be making history by equalling Hulk Hogan’s record for main eventing most number of WrestleMania with eight. How many WrestleMania’s has Roman Reigns main evented?
At WrestleMania 31, Roman Reigns challenged Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event. Seth Rollins got inserted into the match by cashing-in his Money in the Bank contract and won the title.
At WrestleMania 32, Roman Reigns challenged Triple H for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event and won the title back after a tough fight.
At WrestleMania 33, Roman faced ‘The Phenom’ Undertaker in the main event of the show in a No Holds Barred match. Where Roman defeated Undertaker and became the second wrestler to defeat Undertaker at WrestleMania.
At WrestleMania 34, Roman challenged Brock Lesnar in the main event of the show for the WWE Universal Championship and failed to win the title.
At WrestleMania 37, Roman defended his WWE Universal Championship against Edge and Daniel Bryan in the main event. Where Roman double-pinned both Edge & Bryan to retain the title.
At WrestleMania 38, Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar fought in the main event for the WWE Championship & Universal Championship in a winner takes all match. Roman defeated Brock to retain the Universal Championship and win the WWE Championship.
At WrestleMania 39, Roman Reigns defended his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Cody Rhodes in the main event of the show. Roman Reigns retained the title by defeating Cody Rhodes.
In total Roman Reigns has main evented WrestleMania seven times (31, 32, 33, 34, 37, 38, and 39).
