John Cena is one of the Greatest Pro-Wrestlers of All Time, who has been in the pro-wrestling industry for more than two decades. The Cenation leader after achieving great success went on to pursue a career in Hollywood and became a part-time wrestler slowly.
Cena however returned for a full-time role after a long time last year, while Hollywood was on strike and went on to resume with his projects after the strike was called off. It was speculated that time that John Cena could show up during WrestleMania season and will be available for the big show.
WWE is less than 40 days away from hosting the biggest professional wrestling event, WrestleMania 40. A number of top stars will be appearing on the show of immortals, where John Cena’s appearance became a question mark as he went on to resume his Hollywood projects. Now a recent backstage report suggests that there have been talks about John Cena’s appearance at WrestleMania.
John Cena to appear at WrestleMania 40
On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Cena could be appearing at WrestleMania 40, but for a non-wrestling role, which could be short, fun and memorable.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported,
“Cena will soon be filming a second season of “Peacemaker.” There has been some talk about Cena at Mania. It’s basically up to his acting schedule and if there is something going on. If there is, he may appear but couldn’t do anything that would be deemed a risk. We were told that if he does appear, the idea is to do something fun, short and memorable and with substance”.
Cena last appeared on WWE television at WWE Crown Jewel, where Cena battled The Enforcer of The Bloodline, Solo Sikoa and got destroyed by Sikoa, who hit a number of Samoan Spikes on him.
