CM Punk to return at RAW before WWE WrestleMania 40

CM Punk made his monumental return to WWE at Survivor Series 2023 and shook the entire WWE Universe. The Second City Saint was on the build to main event WrestleMania 40 with Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship and even teased of winning the Royal Rumble. 

However, Punk tore his right tricep muscle and was written off from television due to surgery and rehabilitation. Punk’s WrestleMania dream was frozen as he announced that he would be missing WrestleMania this year. The injury impacted multiple changes in the road to WrestleMania and in the WrestleMania match card. As the whole WWE Universe waits for Punk’s return an update reveals that are just weeks away from witnessing Punk on television.

CM Punk’s WWE return

CM Punk is advertised for the April 1, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw in Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. It is noted that the company has advertised CM Punk’s appearance for the Raw before WrestleMania 40 on their official website.

However, we could expect Punk’s appearance one week before on the March 25 episode of Raw in Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois, which is the hometown of Punk. This is the same arena where Punk makes his WWE return at Survivor Series 2023.

On February 19, 2024, CM Punk showed up after Raw went off air for the first time after his injury. It is unknown whether Punk’s return has some cause or if it will be a usual addressing.

Punk during his time in commentary for the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff show said that he injured his hand and not his mouth and still could piss off a lot. Based on his past hints, Punk seems like will be making an appearance on the commentary desk. We need to wait for almost a month for his appearance to know what he would be coming up with.
