The March 04, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw is officially over and it is one of the must watch episodes in recent times. A number of great matches, segments and announcements featured on the red brand, setting the hype for the upcoming events. Get to know what happened on this week’s episode of Raw as we came up with the full summary, highlights, results and grades for the show.
WWE Raw Summary & Highlights
“The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes & Seth “Freakin”
“The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes kicks-off Monday Night Raw. He said that he loves to talk about the biggest main event of WrestleMania 40, Roman Reigns, but he can’t talk about that because of the distraction, The Rock. Cody addresses Rock’s promo on Instagram and on SmackDown. Cody doesn’t want Rock to talk about his dog.
Cody says that Rock declined his singles match and offered something different. Cody says that during his earlier conversation Rock said that the WWE Universe wanted Rock vs Roman & not Cody. But it is totally contrast. Cody addresses Rock’s challenge involving his friend, Seth “Freakin” Rollins and calls him out.
Seth Rollins wants to hear about what Cody Rhodes thinks about Rock’s challenge. Cody recalls what happened so far. Cody addresses the challenge and says Rollins to fully focus on Drew McIntyre and not to have his back. Rollins says that he will take care of Drew and says that The Bloodline problem is more than that. He wants to take the power from them and give it to the people.
Seth Rollins says that he is over The Rock. Seth came out with a new name for Rock, which is “Diarrhea Dwayne 😆” as whatever comes from his mouth is similar to that. Rollins addresses Rock’s 21 minutes promo. Rollins said that Rock told that he is the boss and he will take the WHC away from him and he dare Rock to try.
Rollins says that he is 100% medically cleared to compete and will be on SmackDown. Cody and Seth are coming to SmackDown for the Bloodline with a clear answer to their challenge.
Gunther vs Dominik Mysterio
Gunther threw Dom and looks to lock his leg. Dom pushed Gunther and chopped him thrice. Dom escapes the ring and Gunther chases him. JD came between, The Ring General pushed him to the ring post and tried to chop him, but Gunther hit the ring post. Dom used the opportunity to smash his hands on the ring post again and targets it. But Gunther stopped him with one vicious chop to the chest.
After the commercial, Gunther continues his assault on Dom with series of powerful chops. Gunther locks Dom with a Boston Crab and JD distracts. Dom sends Gunther out with a drop kick and flew over him. Gunther chopped Dom and sends him inside the ring.
Dom took Gunther for a 619, but Gunther countered with a Clothesline. Dom counters Gunther’s powerbomb and hit him with a 619. Gunther countered Dom’s frog splash, hit him with a Power Bomb and made Dom submit for the Boston Crab.
Backstage
Damage CTRL arrived on Raw and Adam Pearce asked why they are here. Kai said thst they came to see what Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark are capable off. Nakamura interrupted and met Pearce asking for a Intercontinental Championship match. Pearce said that he will make an announcement about the IC title match tonight.
Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark vs Katana Chance & Kayden Carter
Carter rolled Baszler up right away after the march began, but Baszler stomoed her arm to suffer pain. Damage CTRL are on the ringside. Shayna & Zoey work as a double team to take down Carter out before the commercial.
After the commercial, Baszler and Chance are on thr ring and Zoey climbed to the top rope. Carter got tagged in and both Carter & Chance hit a double Spanish Super-Fly from the top rope. Carter took Zoey on her shoulder and Chance stepped on her and jumped over Baszler to take her down with a hurrican-rana. Chance and Carter hit their finisher on Zoey, but Baszler breaks the pin. Zoey then rolled up Chance for the win.
After the match, Dakota Kai said that Kabuki Warriors will defend their tag team championship next week against them and do exactly the same, what they done to Bayley on SmackDown.
Backstage- Judgment Day
Judgment Day were on the medical room for Dom. Damian Priest said that JD McDonagh will take care of Gunther and said that Priest and Balor will teach Imperium a lesson by taking Kaiser and Vinci later tonight.
Becky Lynch vs Nia Jax
Nia Jax locks Lynch to thr corner and targets her mid section. Nia went for a splash, but Becky kicked her on the face. Nia soon got the momentum back and dropped Lynch with a slam. Jax hit a headbutt and leg drop, but not enough. Becky locks Nia with a sleeper hold, but Nia breaks it.
Jax hit a corner splash and mocked Rikishi’s move. Lynch hit a drop kick and it took her out of the ring. Becky slide kicks and jumps over her shoulder, which Jax countered and hit a Samoan Drop outside the ring. After the commercial, Becky & Nia are on top of the rope, where Becky tried for a overhead super-plex, bur Nia pushed her down and hit a Leg Drop from the middle rope.
Nia teases of hitting with a big right hand, but Becky escapes and look for a Manhandle slam and Jax countered it for a Side slam and Becky again countered by sending her to shoulder first to the turnbuckles. Becky jumped on Jax and Nia hit a Samoan Drop.
Nia looks for a Annihilator, but Lynch caught countered her with a Disarmer & Armbar. Nia sneaks out and Liv Morgan came out of nowhere, attacked Jax to stop the match. Becky and Liv are not on the good terms, they have a face off. Nia Jax pulled both out, threw Becky to the ring post and hit Liv with a Leg Drop.
Backstage
Ricochet asked Pearce for the IC title shot. Judgment Day came to meet Pearce and said that JD wants IC title shot against Gunther.
Becky Lynch met Liv Morgan to ask why she cost her match and challenged her for a match next week and Liv accepts.
Adam Pearce announced Six Man Gauntlet Match
Adam Pearce addressed the Intercontinental Championship challengers and chose six potential wrestlers- Sami Zayn, Ricochet, Nakamura, Bronson Reed, MCDonagh, Chad Gable. He announced a Gauntlet match next week to find Gunther’s opponent for WrestleMania 40.
Andrade vs Apollo Crews
Both shook hands and lock their shoulders. Apollo locks Andrade’s head and both start showcasing their power with shoulder tackle, and kick to the face. Apollo took Andrad to the top rope, chops him and hit a overhead super-plex. Andrade sokn reversed it with Three Amegos. Andrade hit a back of the elbow to the jaw. Andrade hit double knees and hit Hammer Locked DDT for the win.
Backstage Interview
Sami Zayn was asked about his #1 Contender’s match for the Intercontinental Championship next week in a Gauntlet match. Sami Zayn claims that he is just one Gauntlet match away from earning the spotlight. Sami says that apart from going to WrestleMania, it is about making history. Ivar & Valhalla met Zayn and challenged for a match. Zayn accepts and ask him to meet inside the ring later tonight.
Backstage
Indi Hartwell & Candice LeRae talk about getting their rematch for the Women’s Tag Team Championship. Natalya & Tegan Nox talk about the misunderstanding between them. Maxxine Dupri & Ivy Nile came to console Candice, but Candice left the chat.
The Judgment Day vs Imperium
Finn Balor & Ludwig Kaiser started tha match, where Balir took the initial strike. Kaiser however fought back and tagge Vinci in. Vinci tried to roll down Balor, but Balor hit a drop kick and took Vinci to their corner to tag Priest. Vinci escaped Priest and tagged Kaiser in. Priesr senr Vinci out and tagged Balor in to take two on one attack on Kaiser.
Balor hit a scissors cut and extends Kaiser’s mid section. Kaiser escaped the move sent Priest out. Kaiser took Balor to the corner and both Kaiser & Vinci hit a double drop kick on him. After the commercial, Balor hit a slingblade on Kaiser. Vinci got tagged in and took Priest out, to avoid the tag.
Kaiser and Vinci worked as a double team, but Balor kicks out. Balor tries to fight back and took Vinci down. Balor tagged Priest in and he’s fired up. Priest took both to the corners and hit a swinging clothesline. Priest hit a Falcon Arrow on Kaiser and looks for Razer’s edge. Kaiser escaped Priest’s corner splash and Balor got tagged in.
Balor looks for a drop kick to the corner, but Kaiser stopped him. Balor hit a drop kick to the corner, and hit the Coupe de Grace on Vinci and Kaiser saves the match again. Priest took Kaiser out. Priest got tagged in, took Vinci with a big clothesline and From The Heavens Chokeslam for the win.
Backstage Interview
Drew McIntyre is interviewed backstage. Drew said that Seth Rollins is a spotlight junkie like CM Punk, who imvolves in other business than focusing on the big match with him. Drew sent a message to Jey stating that Jey Uso doesn’t have a single chance to win against Drew McIntyre tonight.

Rhea Ripley met IYO SKY backstage and warned her to step out of her territory. IYO laughed and walked away with Damage CTRL.
Sami Zayn vs Ivar
Ivar pushed Sami down and hit a spinning powerslam on him. Sami fights back and sends Ivar out of the ring and jumoed over the top rope on him. Sami looks for an Explodee suplex and DDT, but Ivar took him out of the ring.
After the commercial, Ivar took Sami Zayn to the top rope and looks for a overhead throw, but Zayn countered with a cross body. Sami hit a Tornando DDT from the middle rope. Zayn looks for a Helluva kick, but Ivar countered with a spinning kick.
Ivar took Zayn again to the tope rope, but again backfired as Zayn hit a Sunset Flip Powerbomb on Ivar. Sami hit an Exploder Suolex and looks for Helluva kick, but Ivar took him down. Ivar went for the moonsault from the top rope, but Sami escaped and hit him with an Helluva Kick for the win. After the match, Bronson Reed attacked Sami Zayn and hit a Tsunami from top rope.
Backstage Interview
Gunther is interviewed backstage about the #1 contender’s Gauntlet match. Gunther said that the opponent need to work hard to gain the title shot as he is the one who elevated the title. Chad Gable met Gunther and said that he will be coming for him once again after what he have done for him. He looks to reinstate the smile on her daughter’s face again.
Backstage
Xavier Woods, R-Truth and DIY play WWE 2K24 backstage. Miz met them backstage and said that they need to take Judgment Day by taking down the Tag Team titles.
Jey Uso vs Drew McIntyre
Jey Uso takes the initial control of the match with strikes to the face and sent him out of the ring. Drew fought back and threw Jey to the commentary desk. After the commercial, Jey kicked Drew on the face and hit a crossbody from the top rope. Drew kicked Jey and lands punches. Jey tried to fight back, but Drew took him and chops his chest.
Drew took Jey to the top rope and looks for the white noise, but Jey escaped and hit a power bomb. Jey went for a frog splash, bur Drew has his knees up and hit a spine buster. Drew chopped Jey and sent him out of the ring. Drew hit a vertical suplex on Jey outside the ring before commercial.
After the commercial, Drew took Jey to a ride from hitting the barricade and the apron, targetting his back. Drew took Jey in and Jey kicked Drew down. Jey hit Rock’s signature strikes and hit a Samoan Drop. Jey hit a Samoan splash to the corner. Jey went for the top rope and Solo Sikoa came to distract him.
Cody Rhodes took Solo out to the audience side. Jey countered Claymore and hit three super kicks and a spear to Drew. Jey went for the top rope and Jimmy Uso distracted him. Drew hit a Claymore on Jey to pick up the win.
After the match, Jimmy took a chair to attack Jey, but Seth Rollins came for the save and took Jimmy down. While Seth is busy looking Jimmy, Drew McIntyre hit a Claymore om Seth Rollins to end this week’s Raw.
