AJ Styles could soon take retirement from pro wrestling
AJ Styles has made it plain that his time left in the ring is very limited. Styles has lived up to his magnificent reputation by winning top titles all over the world, putting on some of the best fights of the twenty-first century, and having a career that has lasted many decades.
He will be recognized as one of the greatest in-ring performers of all time. AJ Styles, who is 47 years old and will turn 48 in June, is well aware that his in-ring career is nearing an end. While some have opted to continue competing into their 60s because they can’t get enough of the audience, the former WWE Champion has already set a retirement date.
While speaking with Chris Van Vliet, it was mentioned that AJ Styles was The Undertaker’s final opponent in 2020. When asked if he had considered ending his own career, Styles said that while he has, it is also difficult to walk away.
Styles said, “I’ve thought about it a lot, much more than I should have. I should have known what I was doing by now. But it’s so hard because you enjoy it so much and I enjoy being around my friends. Don’t get me wrong, I love being at home, but the opportunity to see them and see them doing well, seeing them smile, and seeing them grow.”
Later he added, that he won’t wrestle after 50. When asked if he wants to wrestle into his 50s or at 50, Styles said “No” and added that he will retire before his 50th birthday. He said, “That’s correct. I keep saying that. I’ve said this and said this, but I will not wrestle at 50, I promise you that.”
AJ Styles hopes to win the WWE Championship one more time before retiring. considering a result, we’ll have to wait and watch when The Phenomenal One retires from professional wrestling, considering he’s already 47 and will be done before he’s 50.
