The May 24th edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event emanated from Tampa!
The first event following WWE Backlash 2025 was the May 24 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, which emanated live from the Yeungling Center in Tampa, Florida. This was the second edition of SNME in 2025 and the third one overall since its return in 2024.
WWE brought the third edition of the vintage show, Saturday Night’s Main Event, which featured multiple matches where top superstars, including John Cena, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, and Jey Uso, among others, competed.
There are a total of eleven champions on the main roster, two of whom defended the title at the May 24 Saturday Night’s Main Event. However, both the Champions defended the titles as the Challengers failed to capitalize on the opportunity.
Zelina Vega defended the Women’s United States title, defeating Chelsea Green, while World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso defeated Logan Paul to retain the title in the main event of the show.
