The July 11 episode of SmackDown served as the go-home show for SNME & Evolution!
The July 11 episode of Friday Night SmackDown served as the go-home show for the upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event as well as the all-women’s PLE, Evolution. The show aired live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.
The show continued the build towards the two shows, hyping up the upcoming matches. Alexa Bliss defeated Kairi Sane, Roxanne Perez, and Sol Ruca in a fatal four-way match ahead of their clash alongside their respective tag partners for the Women’s Tag titles at Evolution.

The Wyatt Sicks (Joe Gacy & Dexter Lumis) defeated The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions, while Ron “R-Truth” Killings rolled up Aleister Black for a quick pin, which irked Black. In response, he took out Damian Priest, who tried to stop him from attacking Truth.
Logan Paul also made his return, gatecrashing Jelly Roll’s performance. Randy Orton also appeared during the segment, defending the country star and blasting Logan for disrespecting him. Drew McIntyre took out Orton with a Claymore. Logan tried to capitalize, but Jelly Roll saved Orton, sending Paul crashing outside.
In the main event of the show, LA Knight and Jimmy Uso defeated Solo Sikoa and JC Mateo. However, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed viciously attacked Knight after the match. During the July 11 show, the promotion also announced segments for the next week’s show.
The July 18 episode of SmackDown will emanate live from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas. Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena and Cody Rhodes will be under one roof on the show. The two are set to battle in a rematch at SummerSlam, after Cody won the King of the Ring tournament.
The show will also feature the aftermath from the upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event and the all-women’s PLE, Evolution, both of which are set for this weekend in Atlanta, Georgia.
