All matches announced for WWE NXT (May 20, 2025): Joe Hendry live in concert, Shawn Spears in action & more

NXT Champion Oba Femi was in action this week!

The May 13 episode of WWE NXT aired live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The show followed in the footsteps of last week’s show. This week’s edition of WWE NXT was one of the most pivotal episodes on the road to Battleground.

NXT Champion Oba Femi was in action in the first match of the evening, he took on Charlie Dempsey in a non-title match. Femi defeated Dempsey by pinfall after landing the fall from grace. A TNA World Championship contract signing for NXT Battleground 20205 featuring the TNA World Champion Joe Hendry and challenger Trick Williams also took place on the show.

Furthermore, Wes Lee defeated Tony D’Angelo in singles action, while Myles Borne defeated Ethan Page in a number one contender’s match for the NXT Championship. Thea Hail was also in action following her return last month, she defeated Tatum Paxley.

NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer and Jordynne Grace teamed in the main event to battle Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley and Jacy Jayne). Vaquer and Grace picked up the win in the main event.

During the May 13 episode of WWE NXT, the developmental brand announced multiple matches and segments for next week’s show, which, as usual, will emanate from WWE Performance Center in Orlando. Florida.

Kelani Jordan is set to battle Zaria in a singles match, if Jordan wins, she will face Sol Ruca next for the NXT Women’s North American Title, while Sean Legacy, Je’Von Evans, and Ashante Thee Adonis will battle in a triple-threat match.

OTM is set to make their in-ring return to battle Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors. The two approached General Manager AVA backstage, asking for a tag team match to help get Chase U back on track. Additionally,  Shawn Spears is set to lock horns with Josh Briggs.

Furthermore, ahead of the title defense, TNA World Champion Joe Hendry will be live in concert next week, while we will also witness a Rap performance by the Challenger Trick Williams.
