Early start time; World Tag title match & more announced for WWE RAW next week (June 30, 2025)

The June 23 episode of RAW served as the Night of Champions go-home show!
The June 23 episode of Monday Night Raw aired live from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. The episode served as the go-home show for the 2025 edition of Night of Champions, which is set for this Saturday.
The show hosted the final two semi-finals in the King and Queen of the Ring tournament. The Women’s Intercontinental title was also contested on the show, which featured appearances from multiple top stars, including Seth Rollins, Goldberg, and Penta, among others. SmackDown stars, including Cody Rhodes and Jade Cargill, also made an appearance on the show.
What happened on WWE RAW (June 23, 2025)?
In the first match of the show, Bron Breakker defeated Penta to settle the score for attacking him last week. Seth Rollins warned Penta to step away from their way after the match.
Jade Cargill defeated Roxanne Perez in the second semi-finals of the Queen of the Ring tournament. She will now battle Asuka in the finals of the tournament at the PLE this Saturday.
The Women’s Intercontinental title match between Becky Lynch (c) and Bayley ended in disqualification as Lyra Valkyria attacked Lynch. The DQ meant Lynch retaining the title, while Bayley confronted Lyra for costing her the match.
In the main event of the show, Cody Rhodes defeated Jey Uso in an epic showdown to secure the spot in the finals of the King of the Ring tournament. He will now have to battle Randy Orton in the finals at Night of Champions.
During the June 23 show, Michael Cole on the commentary desk announced that next week’s WWE Raw will have an early start time. The show next week will have a 6 PM ET/3 PM PT start time, two hours earlier than the usual start time.
WWE has decided to tape next week’s SmackDown in advance to give the roster time off for the July 4th holiday. They will also record the July 4th episode of SmackDown at the same venue.
The June 30 episode of Raw will air live from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and will serve as the fallout show from Night of Champions 2025. The travel turnaround for the roster is expected to be tough, as the journey from Riyadh to Pittsburgh is over 6,700 miles one way.
During this week’s show, General Manager Adam Pearce also announced that World Tag Team Champions, the New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston), will defend the titles against the Judgment Day (Finn Balor & JD McDonagh).
During the Night of Champions 2025, the promotion announced a singles match between Rusev and Sheamus for the June 30 NOC fallout show of Raw.
