The June 13 episode of SmackDown aired live from the Rupp Arena!

This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown served as the fallout show from Money in the Bank 2025. The show aired live from the Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky, and featured the developments from the PLE.

The show also continued the developments towards the upcoming Night of Champions 2025. CM Punk also made an appearance, confronting Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena ahead of their clash at the PLE, while R-Truth repeatedly attacked Cena.

Randy Orton made his return tonight and defeated  LA Knight, Carmelo Hayes and Aleister Black in a fatal four-way match to secure a spot in the semi-finals of the King of the Ring tournament. On the other hand, Jade Cargill defeated Michin, Nia Jax and Piper Niven to secure a semi-final spot in the Queen of the Ring tournament.

Wyatt Sicks (Dexter Lumis & Joe Gacy) defeated Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) in a tag team match, while Alexa Bliss defeated Charlotte Flair, Alba Fyre, and Candice LeRae to advance in the Queen of the Ring tournament.

Additionally, Cody Rhodes defeated Damian Priest, Andrade & Shinsuke Nakamura in the main event to secure his spot in the semi-finals of the Queen of the Ring tournament. During the June 13 show, the promotion also announced multiple matches and segments for the next week’s show.

The June 20 episode of WWE SmackDown will emanate live from the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After multiple attacks, Ron ‘R-Truth’ Killings finally got what he asked from General Manager Nick Aldis as he is set to battle the Undisputed Champion John Cena next week.

Randy Orton is set to battle Sami Zayn in the first semi-finals of the King of the Ring tournament, while Alexa Bliss will battle the winner of the final opening round match (on next week’s Raw) in the semi-finals next week in Michigan.
